Where normally I would see only a list of my friends and their phone numbers, with InTouch5™, I’m also going to see their status availability and whether any of them have posted anything new on any of the social networks we’re connected on.
If I want to be kept informed up-to-the-minute, I can set my phone to notify me the very moment anyone posts anything new. That means I can interact with my friends in real-time and I can choose to react either using the same communication medium as they have (reply to their twitter, comment on their Facebook post) or on any other medium (IM them, call them, text them). Every social network and every medium of communication is there at my finger tips – in one place.
On top of this I can keep various windows open: I can be chatting on IM with one friend, and commenting on the Facebook post of another. I can switch between these windows with the nudge of my thumb – and because their interface is consistent with the one I’m used to on PC, I don’t have any learning curve to adapt to.
If I don’t want to be notified, I can opt-out completely, or set my filter to only send me alerts from the selected group I want to get news about. So, instead of signing in to my various social network accounts and scrawling through all the bumf from people I was too polite to reject, or care to get news about only sometimes – my InTouch5™ Rich AddressBook will keep me notified of any news I do want to know about.
And because InTouch5™ keeps me ‘always connected’, I don’t waste time signing in and out nor surfing the various networks. I have a direct, open, easy connection to all of my friends, on my mobile, in my pocket.
